Tony graduated from the University of Cologne in Germany and completed his basic surgical training in the United Kingdom. He trained as a urologist in Aachen, Germany and Edinburgh, Scotland. After moving to Australia he became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and is an active Member of the Urological Society of Australia and New Zealand.
